First meetings: We'll begin with video sessions, establishing our relationship and getting a sense of your inner and outer landscape — assessing areas of struggle and suffering as well as resources and strengths. After we have a practiced connection we can decide if transitioning to nature-based walk and talk is a good match. Among our considerations are your comfort/familiarity with being out in nature — is it soothing and resourcing or unknown and uncomfortable? Additionally we'll consider the work you're doing in therapy — sometimes we benefit from the predictability of a more controlled indoor environment.
